Before issuing a certificate, the Certificate Authority authenticates that the requesting entity
is authorized to use the domain for which the certificate is being requested.


Full Company Validation
Before the Certificate Authority issues a Deluxe High-Assurance SSL certificate, the applicant's company or
personal information undergoes a rigorous authentication procedure that verifies its existence and identity.

Extended Validation SSL Certificates
Premium EV SSL Certificates provide the highest level of online assurance for your
customers thanks to a process that's standardized across all certification authorities.
Using the most extensive SSL vetting process available, EV SSL Certificates are
available to two types of entities, 1) Corporate Organizations which include corporations
and limited liability companies and 2) Business Entities which do not qualify as a Corporate
Organization, but are legally registered businesses with a verifiable, registered principal
individual.

Both types of business entities need to be legally registered in the U.S. and
verified with a registered status of "Good Standing", "Active" or equivalent. A letter from
an attorney or accountant is typically required during application. The process then
